African, Caribbean Drums & Percussion: Students will learn hand drum instruction for African drums (djembe), Caribbean rhythms (congo drums), and other percussion techniques.

Jazz & World Rhythms: Influenced Caribbean movements include contemporary, modern, ballet, and jazz styles, all incorporating free movement. : Students learn about music and dance styles from around the world, including jazz, Dunham, African, Asian, and Indian movements and routines and basic dance technique that is common to all styles.

Dance of India (Classical and Folk): Students from age 11 to adult will learn Indian classical and folk dances, with an emphasis on the Bharata Natyam style. Students will be taught traditional and contemporary movements of North and South India. Basic dance technique will be incorporated into the class.

World Rhythms: Students will learn about music and dance styles from around the world, including jazz, Dunham, African, Asian, and Indian movements and routines. Students will learn basic dance technique that is common to all styles.

 Mexican Folkloric: folk dance celebrating the Mexican heritage

Soul Line Dancing:  Is a fun group dance for all genders and ages with repeated sequences of steps in more than one row or lines to all genres of music, -the dancing takes the “soul” or “feel” of the music!

Prepaid GDT members $50 for 6 classes 
(GDT membership: Individual $35, Family: $50)

Prepaid non-members $50 for 5 classes

Additional charge for Special Classes. Classes other than GDT designated are paid directly to the instructor at their tuition rate.
